Yes this is the recipe I used from Grandma, but I have never heard of "Thick Jel" She always used the Clear Jel A You can buy this at Kitchen Kneads Store in West Jordan. (Do not use Instant Clear Jel!!!) Use the Clear Jel A !!! From Julee
